Each year the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, the Idaho State Historical Society, the National Park Service and the Idaho Heritage Trust join other historical societies and parks departments from our surrounding states to provide training for those interested in learning to preserve historic structures. The Idaho Heritage Trust, through a grant from Battelle Energy Alliance, provides funding for scholarships. The Trust also provides the services of preservation architect Fred Walters as an instructor for the program.
