Gem County Museum (Historical Society)

Location: 501 East First Street, Emmett, Idaho 83617
The Gem County Museum includes six buildings close to downtown Emmett. The Hunt Memorial House holds the belongings of Governor and Mrs. Frank W. Hunt, as donated by their daughter Kathryn. Frank Hunt was the fifth governor of Idaho, serving from 1901 to 1903. The Governor’s office was in his home but the gaming table was in his office in the State Capitol building.
