In March 2023 The Idaho Heritage Trust (IHT) hired architectural historian and educator Amy Pence-Brown as a part-time Administrative Assistant to help with a variety of projects and tasks in support of IHT’s mission to preserve and protect Idaho’s cultural history. This mission is primarily carried out by providing grant funding and technical assistance to historic restoration projects large and small in every corner of the state. Over the last 30 years, IHT has awarded over 600 grants totaling more than $4.9 million. The Trust is currently expanding its programming, further necessitating a new team member.
The new Administrative Assistant will work closely with IHT Executive Director Katherine Kirk in our new office in the historic Governor John T. Morrison House at 211 W State Street, Boise, ID 83702. Amy will help Katherine to cultivate relationships with preservation experts, project and community representatives throughout the state, IHT’s distinguished board members, potential donors, government workers, and many more people with a shared passion for history and historic preservation. Welcome, Amy!
